First-party site statistics

The site sends one limited first-party base request to /collect/ so the operator can count page use and diagnose site performance. This request is always active and is independent of whether a visitor accepts, rejects, dismisses or ignores the cookie choice. It is cookieless and carries browser language, local visit time, time zone and referrer; normal request context identifies the current page. Local development traffic is excluded.

Cookies and local storage

The cookie choice controls optional cookies, advertising, personalization and optional third-party trackers. The launch build does not include an AdSense publisher ID or optional advertising cookies. The choice itself is stored locally so the banner does not need to repeat on every page.

Server logs and email

Hosting infrastructure may process IP address, request time, URL, user agent and error information for delivery, security and troubleshooting. If you email us, the message and address are used to respond and maintain an appropriate record. Do not send sensitive records.

Retention, security and choices

Records should be retained only as long as reasonably needed for operations, security and legal obligations. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. You can clear local browser storage and contact us about a privacy question. We do not knowingly design this publication to collect personal information from children.

Data categories and purposes

The base statistics request sends browser language, local visit time, time zone and the referring page when one exists. The requested page is available to the first-party collector through the ordinary same-site request context. The hosting stack may also receive IP address, user agent and request time. These limited fields are used to count page use, find broken journeys and support technical operations.

The event does not read form contents, email text, medical information, the cookie-choice value or an advertising identifier. We do not describe technical records as anonymous because network and browser data can sometimes be linked or combined. Security and error logs may be used to investigate abuse, failed requests and performance.

Optional services

The local launch build keeps optional advertising and personalization off. If a third-party video, advertising vendor, measurement service or embedded tool is later introduced, this page and the consent controls must be updated before activation. Where law or Google policy requires a certified consent platform, the production operator must configure it with real account values.

Disclosure and sharing

Operational providers may process data on behalf of the site when necessary for hosting, security, email or measurement. Information may also be preserved or disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or investigate abuse. We do not state that data is never shared when ordinary infrastructure providers necessarily process it.

Retention and international access

Retention should be proportionate to operational need, security and legal obligations; exact production retention periods must be confirmed with the hosting configuration. Visitors may access the site from outside the United States, and network processing may occur where providers operate. Do not use this educational site to transmit sensitive records.

Your request

Contact the standard mailbox with the page or interaction involved and the nature of the request. We will evaluate requests against the data the site actually controls and any applicable obligation. Identity verification may be necessary before disclosing or deleting account-linked information, although the launch site has no public user accounts.
