What this graph actually measures

Tympanometry changes air pressure in a sealed ear canal while measuring how the eardrum and middle-ear system admit acoustic energy. The curve should be read with peak pressure, admittance, ear-canal volume, probe tone, age, test quality, otoscopy and hearing thresholds. A curve is evidence, not a diagnosis.
